The official website of Livorno announcing the sacking of coach Domenico Di Carlo on Saturday 19 April 2014. Di Carlo sacked after losing the Serie A Week 34 game: AC Milan 3 – 0 Livorno at San Siro Stadium. Livorno went down from the 18th to the 19th position and risk relegation in Serie B. Di Carlo is replaced by coach Davide Nicola who had coached Livorno from 2012 to January 2014 when he was sacked. It’s a recall, and this might work because Nicola promoted Livorno from Serie B this season. Challenge now for Nicola is to save Livorno to remain in Serie A next season.
These are Livorno numbers up to Serie A Week 34 under coach Domenico Di Carlo.
Livorno, 19th position with 25 points and a negative goal difference of -31.
