MINO FAVINI TO THE MILAN CHANNEL: “I have a soft spot for Pazzini”

MILAN – The head of the Atalanta Youth Sector Mino Favini spoke to the Milan Channel earlier today. Many players in the Milan squad have passed through the Orobici youth ranks. These were the comments from Favini:

“I have a soft spot in particular for Pazzini, I saw him come through from childhood, improve and go beyond the expectations. I can say with certainty: leave Pazzini near the penalty area and the goals will come. Pazzini against Sassuolo wasn’t yet at his best, but he’s close to full fitness and with a bit of patience Giampaolo will know how to repay that. Pazzini can also do his part in the build-up play and he’s a specialist near the penalty area. He can do other tasks and in the Milan formation he can do very well. I remember a very young Cerci, but already with important qualities. You understood he had qualities. Once he has found his peak fitness he will show his value. I’m becoming a bit of a Milan fan having seen Montolivo, Agazzi, Bonaventura grow-up. Bonaventura is a born talent. He matured a little bit later physically and athletically. We needed an extra bit of patience with him. Atalanta are a side that is willing and has character, they’re coming out of a difficult period. It definitely won’t be easy for Milan.”
