MEMORABLE MOMENT: Milan-Udinese 3-2. Season 2009/2010. Round 24.
The match was brought forward to the Friday night ahead of the Rossoneri’s first-leg last-16 Champions League tie versus Manchester United. The ultra-attacking line-up launched by Leonardo was firing on all cylinders right from kick-off. Huntelaar found the breakthrough early on with a header thanks to an assist from Ronaldinho and the Brazilian was involved again to set up fellow countryman Pato for the team’s second. Floro Flores pulled one back for the hosts just before the first half whistle, but Huntelaar netted his second of the night in the second half to restore the team’s two-goal cushion. Di Natale scored a late consolation goal but it was Milan that came away with maximum points at the final whistle.
