MILAN HISTORY: RENZO DE VECCHI BORN IN 1894

MILAN – One of the club’s first great players, Renzo De Vecchi, was born on this day in 1894. His football abilities earned him the nickname “il figlio di Dio” (the son of God) and he made 67 appearances for Milan between 1909 to 1913, scoring 7 times. An Italy international, he would go on to win 3 titles during his time with Genoa. He passed away at the age of 73 and the club pays tribute to him on this day.
