MILAN FOUNDATION: PLAY FOR CHANGE

MILAN - "My dream is that someone will believe in me and help me grow”. Alessandro, 12 years old, participant in one of the programs sus5tained by the Milan Foundation and along with Ikram, Manuel, Gaia and many others, plays his part in the campaign launched today by the club’s charity organization.
The Milan Foundation wants to give a concrete response to through the values of sport and development programs to help children make the most of their lives. A mission that sees the participation of the club’s players as well. Kaká, Stephan El Shaarawy and Mattia De Sciglio are all playing their part in the Milan Foundation initiatives. The objective is the involvement of everyone who believes that sports can be an agent for change, not just players and club employees but also the fans, sponsors and club partners are all called upon to participate. 5 per mille gives the Milan Foundation the chance to provide concrete assistance to various projects. The “Scuola Bottega” in Milan helps children get back to education and also find a job. The "Lo Sport per l’educazione e la crescita dei giovani" (Sport for Education and Growth for Young People) in Naples has the stated objective of providing education and training for youngsters from difficult neighborhoods.
“Sports for Peace”, in partnership with the UNHCR provides vital assistance for 2,400 refugee children from Syria. Besides these, there are numerous club initiatives in conjunction with Milan Junior Camp for children the world over.
“The Milan Foundation has been by the side of the under privileged for more than 10 years” underlined Barbara Berlusconi, the foundation President. “Football is a language spoken all over the world and we have the responsibility to use this to bring hope where there is none and that starts here in Italy”.
