SINISA MIHAJLOVIC HAPPY AND PROUD TO BE AT MILAN

MILAN – Sinisa Mihajlovic spoke exclusively to the Milan Channel earlier today. This is what the Rossoneri coach had to say:

“It’s only right that I say how things really are. I would like to point out that yesterday I didn’t speak to anyone. I have a contract with Milan and I think we are laying the foundations for a bright future, of which I really want to be a part of and which I want to help create. I am disappointed that it only takes one defeat in two months to change everything and to start talking again about my future. It goes from one extreme to the other, but the team and I are fully focused on the next game versus Chievo and the final of the TIM Cup. They are rumours without foundation. Where else is better than Milan? There can be problems, but these things happen everywhere. I am very happy and I will never stop thanking the President and Galliani for this opportunity to coach Milan. I am looking ahead with my head held high, with conviction and proud of my work. I’ve always had two things in this world: my balls and my word. I’ve always maintained both of them. I don’t like to talk about others. I am focused on my job here and I am taking things one game at a time. The defeat at Sassuolo hurts, but we cannot forget all the positives up until then. We must get back on track right away. There are 10 games to go and we must take it one step at a time. I focus on myself. These past two nights haven’t been easy, and I didn’t sleep much after the Sassuolo game, but that’s normal. We have a few problems in attack, but we will find a solution. We have a week to prepare for the match with Chievo and I have a few ideas. Let’s see if we can carry them out. I am a man first and then a coach. I can be questioned about the latter but not on the former.”
