MILAN – Mattia De Sciglio has been visiting the Vismara Sports Centre where he came through the youth ranks to pose at a wall with all the players who have passed through the Milan youth system.

The full-back said: “It is very emotional to come back to Vismara. Even though I live nearby I have not been back for some time. I spent eight years coming through the youth set-up and I will never forget it. It was a real pleasure to meet up with my old coaches again. The new signings have settled in straightaway. They are experienced players and they have all played at the highest level in Serie A for a long time so they will be a big help to us. We can say that the team is relaxed despite the fact that results have not been going our way. We are disappointed with the way the season is going. Obviously everyone expected something better.  However, we want to change things around and we believe that we can and he will work to climb up the table as high as possible.”
