MILAN- Alessandro Mastalli has been speaking to Milan Channel about the Youth Final Eight and the part he played in the season overall: “If I became the symbol of this youth team it is down to my team-mates, I thank them all. After the match yesterday, the coach was pleased with the season that we had, we complimented us both before and after the game. He made a deep and extraordinary speech that touched us all. To get to play top football I think I made a big step forward and I owe it especially to coach Brocchi’s staff, we had a great season. We tried to carry this game to the end and this will help me a lot in the future. I am convinced that I can do well in top football, although I can and I have to improve a lot yet. I wished good luck to the ’97 team for next season, in the hope that they took something from us in the ’96 team. I am sure they will come back to play the Final Eight next year.”
