MILAN – Marco Van Ginkel spoke to the Milan Channel earlier today at Milanello. These were the thoughts of the Dutchman ahead of Milan’s last home match of the season against Torino:
“The last match of the season at home to Torino will be important for us and we want to collect 3 points. Following that we have the last match away at Atalanta. It’s important that we end the season well. This year it has been hard for us and for the fans and for this reason we want to win the last home match of the season for the fans. We did well against Roma and the atmosphere at the stadium was really great. I hope that we’re able to do the same against Torino. They’re a good side but we can win. We know we have 3 players suspended, but we have others set to come back such as Cerci and some players from the youth team. The coach can rely on all of us. Cerci and El Shaarawy can have a contribution in the final two matches of the season. I hope to score again, I’m often close. But let’s think about winning, that’s what counts.”
