Here are the declarations of AC Milan midfielder Marco Van Ginkel to the Milan Channel on Thursday 22 January 2015 after the training session at the Centro Sportivo Milanello.

 
Van Ginkel saying, “I feel good, I’ve had some problems with my ankle but at the moment I’m fine, I’m back training well. We’ve trained well this week. We have good feelings, the players are well and tomorrow we will finish our preparations for the match. Before the winter break we worked well, but then we started off badly, they weren’t particularly the hardest of opponents with the utmost of respect. Now we have a tougher match away from home against Lazio but we are ready. We have to try and come away from Lazio with some points. It will be hard, they are a good side, in the first match of the season we beat them and played well and so we can repeat that. Both sides will try and win and so it will be a great match. We’ve focused above all on Saturday’s match more than the Italian Cup match. But both will be important. We have some players out injured. When you play 3 matches in a few days you need all of your players available. Everybody wants to play, and I want to as well. I would like to be important for the team in this second part of the season, we shall see. We have a good side with good people, the atmosphere is good, even if we have dropped several points. Now we have to be focused on the upcoming matches.”
