Last season, Luiz Adriano played 28 matches (league championship and Champions League) with Shakhtar, hitting the back of the net 18 times. 9 of these came in the domestic league while the remaining 9 on the European front.
Overall, he netted 20 goals from 44 matches in the Champions League with Shakhtar and 11 from 19 appearances in the Europa League.
