AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has been speaking about the crowd trouble at the San Siro during the UEFA Euro 2016 Qualification game Italy 1 – 1 Croatia  on Sunday 16 November 2014.   Referee Kuipers had to suspend the game twice as flares were thrown onto the pitch.

Galliania said: “There was nothing that could have set it off. There was no refereeing decision that could have caused it. It was ultra quiet match in that aspect so it is disappointing because there was a good crowd in and 98% of people who go to matches are very relaxed. The police did all they could so no one can say anything against them.”
