INZAGHI SPEAKS EXCLUSIVELY TO THE MILAN CHANNEL

< ![CDATA[MILAN- Before facing the media for his pre-match press conference ahead of Cesena-Milan, Filippo Inzaghi spoke exclusively to the Milan Channel. This is what he had to say:A word on the President’s visit to Milanello on Friday: “As always, the President brings enthusiasm, advice and he motivates everyone. Let’s hope we can give him positive results.”A comment on the last match versus Empoli: “Matches are influenced by episodes. For the first 12 minutes, we were playing well but then we made 2 mistakes that we shouldn’t have committed. We have to improve on this aspect as this conditioned the match and made it harder to win. We were shaken by it, but then we got back into the match, reacted well and probably could have won in the second half. Let’s take away the good things we did. The side has great desire and I can’t say anything against them.”On Keisuke Honda: “In my view, we have to leave players free to express themselves. Honda was negatively judged far too early. He’s now doing very well. Unfortunately in Italy we’re a bit nasty. As for the team, we need patience. We know where we need to improve and we’ll do so bit by bit.”A comment on Torres and his impressive full debut: “I wasn’t surprised by his performance. He played well, scored a great goal, provided an assist for Menez. Upfront I have 7 players in attack all with different characteristics. Let’s not forget the likes of Niang, Pazzini, Bonaventura and El Shaarawy who started very well before his injury. I will find the right system to get the best out of the team.” On a potential change in the side’s formation versus Cesena: “I think there will be an evolution of the current formation. We’ll evaluate the situation during or before the match. Two playing styles can be something extra for the team. I will evaluate what formation to play.”Finally a word on Cesena: “We know with newly promoted sides it’s always hard, they give their all against us. We also want to do well though. The spirit is right. We’re nearly at full strength, Diego Lopez and Saponara are out.”]]>
