GASPERINI FORESEES A TOUGH TEST VERSUS MILAN

MILAN – Here is an extract of what Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini had to say in his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow’s match with Milan:

“The further up you climb, the harder it becomes and it hurts when you fall. We haven’t lost our humility and we’re not getting too ahead of ourselves. We will try and make it hard for Milan, that’s for sure, it’s a match which is worth more for them in terms of Europe. We have the awareness that our points haven’t come from lucky incidents, they’re the fruit of the group’s efforts. Milan are growing and they have a squad of value. In attack they’re dangerous, quick and have firepower. Our 3 pronged attack brings solidity and unites the team. We’re expecting a tough match. Matri is getting back to himself. I don’t think he can immediately go back to Milan, this is something only the President can say. I gave El Shaarawy his debut and I am happy that he has overcome his physical problems.”
