GALLIANI HANDS OUT MEDAL TO BONERA FOR 200TH APPEARANCE

MILAN – Before today’s training session, the club’s CEO Adriano Galliani handed out a medal to Daniele Bonera in recognition of his 200 appearances with the Milan jersey. The defender reached the impressive milestone last weekend against Napoli.

Galliani gave a speech before handing out the medal in which he reminisced about the capture of the defender and how he took the train in July 2006 to Parma. Galliani also spoke about Bonera’s debut for the rossoneri, which came against his former side Parma in September 2006, and which ended 2-0 in favour of Milan. Seedorf and Kakà were on the score-sheet that day. At the end of his speech, Daniele Bonera took the chance to speak about how much the award meant to him and thanked the rest of the playing squad and playing staff.
