FRANCO BARESI BELIEVES TEAM ARE IMPROVING

MILAN- Former captain Franco Baresi has been speaking to Milan Channel ahead of the derby on Sunday, November 23. He said: “We are heading to the derby looking to prepare and play well and I think we can do well even if Inter are not in great form at the moment. In the final years of Sacchi’s time in charge we did really well in the derby and we gained some incredible results. You always have to prepare well for the derby, it is a one-off game. Inter have character and the derby is a game that is really felt and even when I played against my brother it was a particular occasion. I played my first derby in the 1978-79 season, we won and Maldera scored, we also won the title that year. This team is improving and everyone has to work for one goal. They need to work to improve on conceding goals and continue to find their consistency.”
