MILANELLO- Filippo Inzaghi gave an exclusive interview to the Milan Channel before facing the press on Saturday. These were his comments:

“Luckily, some important players are on their way back. Let’s hope we have a great game and I am confident as always because I see a team that is working hard and is committed. Antonelli and Paletta play in an assured manner and have brought us a lot of positivity. I think that we showed in Turin and in the second half against Parma that we are on the right path. This could be a launching pad for a positive month. I have a group capable of doing well, but a bit of patience is needed.”

On Sunday’s opponents Empoli: “It’s a tricky match because they drew in Florence, Naples and Rome and what they are doing is not just down to chance. We have tried all week to get used to the kick-off time (the match kicks-off at 12.30, editor’s note) but there are no excuses and we have to collect maximum points. We are taking on a very fast side that presses high, but we have worked intensely and I think we are ready.”
