Here are the declarations of AC Milan Coach Filippo Inzaghi to Milan Channel on Saturday 31 January 2015 ahead of the Serie A Week 21 match AC Milan vs Parma to be played on Sunday 1 February at the San Siro Stadium.

Inzaghi syaing, “There are positive feelings over Destro and Bocchetti. They have a desire to show what they can do and they are important investments. We all want to do better and achieve something positive as soon as possible. Tomorrow will be a tricky match, but we want to restore winning ways at all costs.

“We cannot focus on others. We have to get back to winning ways and get back on track. We have had 3 positive months and one not up to the standard. But let’s not forget about all the good that we did prior. I repeat we have to make a winning return. It’s vital.

“4-4-2 is a possibility. We have adopted this playing system on various occasions and we can use it. I am spoilt for choice upfront and I will have to try and make the most of this potential in attack.

“I know Antonelli. We have to start again with players like these along with the ones that we already have. De Jong won’t feature tomorrow. It’s a difficult moment and it hasn’t been easy in terms of absences. At this moment in time we have to roll our sleeves up and try and re-find that spark.

“In my opinion Menez can play with Destro and Pazzini. If we decide to play with 2 forwards it’s better to have one who plays further upfront and one that plays a bit wider and moves about. They are pretty important characteristics for our team.

“The results haven’t helped but in the TIM Cup we were on par with Lazio and in some case we were unlucky with match incidents. I am pleased that the club has made these investments, because it means they believe in the project and we are happy.

“To play a 4-4-2 you have to be in a top condition and you need midfielders in great physical shape. De Jong and Montolivo won’t feature tomorrow. We have excellent players on the flanks. We shall see what formation we go with. If needed Cerci can move to the left. Montolivo will rest tomorrow because he is very fatigued. We will try and deal with the absences without excuses. Who plays for Milan always has to be up to the standard.”
