MILANELLO – Before facing the press earlier today, Filippo Inzaghi gave an exclusive interview to the Milan Channel. Here is an extract of what he said:

“We have prepared as we normally do, focusing above all on ourselves, our way of playing and how we will approach the match. We have worked well. We’re playing at the San Siro and we have to win. I still have to decide the starting line-up as in attack and in midfield I am luckily a bit spoilt for choice, while in defence we have little choice. Today I will see and make a decision on the starting eleven. We have to take things one match at a time, we have to pick up 3 points tomorrow and from there start again. It’s not easy for the players to play in this environment, even if the fans have always helped us and it’s only normal that they are disappointed. We train well during the week and this always leaves me calm ahead of the match. The match last Sunday with Empoli was very tricky. They deserved to win against Roma and Napoli. For us with 12, 13 injuries it wasn’t easy. I hope it is the players’ day tomorrow, they deserve it.”
