“There is a huge amount of satisfaction, because we have reached an important goal, but the best thing is how we achieved it. No one believed at the start: we were a young side that needed to be molded together. Our type of football is about dominating the match, pinning opponents back in their own half and it could have created us difficulties. Congratulations to coach Brocchi and all of his staff. We all work together here at Milan and when we reach these results, credit goes to the entire group. We propose an attacking form of football, it doesn’t always come off, but this is the spirit with which our teams take to the pitch. All of the youth sector teams are working with the same philosophy: the Milan Model. There is a great understanding in the group, our objective is to have players in the First Team and with this model we believe that the players can develop. We will go to the final-8 without changing or going back on our ideas to get a result. When we’re able to impose our ideas we’re able to give great performances. It’s important to win but also how you win.”
