MILAN – On this day 60 years ago, the 2nd of April 1955, the European Cup (now the Champions League) competition was created after a meeting between a selection of Europe’s top clubs in Paris.

Since the inaguration, Milan have gone on to be crowned Champions of Europe 7 times as well as runners up of the elite competition on 4 occasions
