Fiorentina were pitted against Dynamo Kiev in the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals at today’s draw in Nyon. The first leg is to be played in Ukraine on 16 April with the return leg scheduled at the Franchi seven days later, on 23 April. Here’s Vincenzo Montella’s verdict on the Viola’s next European opponents: “Dynamo Kiev are sure to give us a tough game. They’ve hit a bit of form and have improved a lot recently, as they showed by coming back to beat Everton. They have some quality players and physically they’re a very strong side. “The climate could make it difficult but we’ll make sure we’re prepared for it. I just hope to have a full squad available. “We want to keep going and I’m pleased we avoided the other Italian side left in the draw.
