New AC Milan goalkeeper  Diego Lopez was welcomed by numerous fans present at Milan-Linate Airport on Monday 11 August 2014.   Lopez was with his wife by his side and shouted Forza Milan as he got into a car to leave the airport.

Diego Lopez said the following to the Milan Channel: “I’m really charged. Ancelotti and Vecchi have always said good things to me about Milan. Real? No, no regrets, a new stage of my career is about to begin, I thank both clubs for giving me the opportunity to be here. I’m ready to fight and work hard as always for a first team place. Milan has a duty to fight for the Scudetto and to do as well as possible in all the competitions it takes part in.”
