DIEGO LOPEZ: “I have a huge desire to get back playing. I hope to be available for Monday”

< ![CDATA[MILAN – Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez spoke exclusively to the Milan Channel, providing us with an update on his injury situation:"I have a huge desire to get back playing. I’ve had to sit out, but I’m eager to get back and to do my job well. I injured myself at Parma before controlling the ball. At that point I couldn’t control the ball, I wanted to react, but I had already hurt myself. My team-mates have explained to me that matches with Hellas Verona are always difficult. I hope to be available to the coach for the next match. It will be a very important match. With 3 points it would allow us to climb the table. We need to have confidence in ourselves against a side that has the same number of points as us and will make it hard for us. We have to start collecting points away from home. Up until now we haven't picked up many.I watched the matches against Juventus and Chievo nervously and suffering from the stands! I cheered my team mates on however. I’m certain that we’re going in the right direction. We wanted to win the latest matches. We defended well, perhaps we felt the pressure of collecting 3 points. The squad is in good shape and needs the confidence of collecting points. The squad has talent and the desire to make up ground. It’s the coach himself who passes all of this onto us."]]>
