DE SCIGLIO TO BOUNCE BACK

< ![CDATA[MILAN - Full-back Matteo De Sciglio si set to be fit for the new season which he hopes will bring rewards for the team. After picking up an injury against Liverpool, he said: "These things happen in football. There was a long ball over the top and I was racing back and our goalkeeper came out quickly to claim the ball. He collided with me very strongly and it was a hard hit. I underwent a scan and nothing serious was reported and the outcome was that I will be sidelined for two weeks and then I should be fit to get back playing. I have had a look at the video a few times and I have to say it was a pretty hard collision. However, things are improving and I am feeling better with each passing day so that is the important thing. This a big year for us and we all have the desire to do well. We really want to bounce back from what was not a great season last year. We only have to concentrate on the league this season so we have all week to prepare in training and get into good shape for the weekend match. This tournament we have been on has not been that positive in terms of the results we have achieved but having said that in the match against Liverpool we were very solid, we were compact in all areas of the pitch and we tried to impose our own style of play on the game. We followed what the coach wanted so I think we can have a good season ahead."]]>
