DANESI COMPLIMENTS PLAYERS’ ROSSONERI HEART

MILAN - Allievi Nazionali coach Omar Danesi spoke on the eve of Milan’s scudetto semi-final against Juventus,

“It was very emotional against Roma – the goal in the final minutes was something special for all the team. We are becoming more compact because of the difficulties we are facing. We are now a cohesive, compact group that has shown how to react when there is the need. I am confident the boys will respond tomorrow as well. The result between Inter and Juventus shocked a few people but Juventus rested a some players, allowing others that hadn’t played much to get some game time. So, it was not a true reflection of the teams. Milan showed its true value in all three matches. In the final match against Roma we went beyond ourselves because it was a tough match against opponents of the highest quality. We played some good attacking football and we need to start off from our first half performance. We put our Rossoneri heart in our game, which will be our starting point on the pitch tomorrow.”
