CRISTIAN ZACCARDO TO THE MILAN CHANNEL: “We’ll end the season well starting on Sunday”

MILAN – Cristian Zaccardo spoke to the Milan Channel ahead of this afternoon’s training session:
“The only thing we have left is qualification for the Europa League. We hoped to get through to the next round on the Champions League and there’s always pressure at Milan. From now on all matches will be like cup finals. In this kind of atmosphere, only victories will count. Parma are 8 point ahead of us and they’re one of the form teams in the league. We have to put Madrid behind us and get back to playing. Parma play well and they have a great coach. Cassano is an unpredictable player and he can get away from his marker when he’s in front of goal. Their morale is sky high but we hope we can play our game. This season unfortunately hasn’t been the season we were hoping for. We’re now looking to improve and end the season well. They’re probably a bit more relaxed than we are given their league position. Their stated objective for the season wasn’t the Europa League and they’ll definitely be full of enthusiasm when they come here. San Siro is a great place to play and we have to focus on the league. The coach treats us all the same. We just have to train as best we can so as to make him consider us in the starting 11”.
