🇮🇹 🏆 A tough blow! AC Milan are eliminated after losing the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa Round of 16 game defeated by Torino on Wednesday 11 January 2023 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy. Torino conquered San Siro thanks to a late goal by midfielder Ndary Adopo after extra time. Torino eliminated Milan and qualified to the Coppa Italia Quarterfinals.
The victory is a delight for Torino who were reduced to 10 men in the 69th minute after defender Koffi Djidji received a second yellow card for a challenge on Milan substitute Junior Messias. Surely, this is a major blow for Milan and the fans disappointed. Great merit for Torino.
Torino grabbed this victory in extra time. In the 114th minute, Michel Adopo defeated AC Milan goalkeeper with a left footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Brian Bayeye.
