MILAN – Filippo Inzaghi gave an exclusive interview to the Milan Channel earlier today. These were the coach’s comments to the club’s in-house TV station:

“There have been lots of great moments together with Daniele Bonera such as the 2007 Champions League win, which started at the preliminary stages against Red Star. He has enjoyed some great seasons with Milan. We all know what the President Berlusconi is like, whatever choice he makes it will be for the good of the club. The real certainty at Milan is the President. We have to now look forwards and finish the season with our heads held high and try and do well, like we did in Naples. The team played with spirit and they fought for the jersey. Montolivo is our captain and an indispensable member of the team. This season we’ve be unlucky not to have him available. We have our two wing-backs Abate and Antonelli available again. Paletta and Alex played well against Napoli and I would like to play Zapata in these final matches. In our first meetings earlier in the season we were superior to Napoli and Roma. Then we went through some difficult moments because of the injuries and we lost our identity. We’re playing at home and we have to make sure it is hard for teams to come to the San Siro. Diego Lopez is having an excellent season and he deserves all the praise that he is receiving.”
