BUSY WEEKEND FOR AC MILAN YOUTH SECTOR

 

The Primavera led the way over the weekend with a 3-1 victory at Atalanta.

MILAN – There were plenty of matches taking place this weekend across the Milan Youth Sector. Here is our round-up below which consisted of 7 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss:PRIMAVERA – There’s no stopping the Milan Primavera after they ran out 3-1 winners away at Atalanta on Sunday to register a fifth win on the trot in the league. Brocchi’s boys have now leapfrogged Atalanta in the league table and now find themselves in fourth place, just two points behind city rivals Inter in third. CLICK HERE for the match report.

Saturday 13 February, Milan-Chievo, 13.00.
Saturday 20 February, Vicenza-Milan, 14.30.
Sunday 28 February, Milan-Salernitana, 11.00.
Saturday 5 March, Perugia-Milan, 14.30.

ALLIEVI UNDER 17 –
After a difficult January, the Rossoneri won their league match away at Lazio 2-1. Forte scored both of the team’s goals. Milan are now in third place ahead of the tough trip to Cesena in the next round.

ALLIEVI UNDER 16 – Nava’s team defeated Carpi 3-2 for a second win on the bounce. Finessi (2) and Cornaggia were on the score-sheet for the Milan youth outfit. Up next for the Rossoneri is an away match at Atalanta.

GIOVANISSIMI UNDER 15 – Goals from Salami, Sala, Bruni, Haidara helped Omar Danesi’s boys to a 4-2 win at Reggiana and their eighth victory in a row. The top-three are now as follows: Atalanta 38 points, Milan and Inter 37 points. The Rossoneri have the chance to overtake Atalanta when the two teams go head to head in this Sunday’s top of the table clash.

GIOVANISSIMI REGIONALI 2002 –
The Rossoneri’s 9 game winning streak was brought to an end following a 2-2 draw with Atalanta. The goals were scored by Grassi and Negri.

GIOVANISSIMI REGIONALI 2003 – A 3-0 victory away at Cremonese thanks to goals from Kourouma, Ngbesso and Aspesani has taken the team coached by Giuseppe Misso to first place with a 2 point lead over Inter and an 8 point advantage over Atalanta.
