MILAN – Youth team coach Cristian Brocchi gave his thoughts to the press after the Milan Primavera’s 3-2 loss away at Chievo earlier today: “Today, Chievo deserved to win and the result is fair. To carry out our game plan, character is needed and you cannot be afraid to make mistakes. If you play with the fear of making mistakes, then you cannot even think about putting in a good performance. Today 3 or 4 players weren’t ready mentally for a match like the one today and we ended up losing. We didn’t play the way we wanted to. I am disappointed and upset with the team and a lot more is needed at this level. As for individuals, I liked the attitude shown by Locatelli and Vido who were positive examples to follow.”
