BONERA: “Happy with Balotelli”

(IN THE PHOTO: Daniele Bonera)MILAN – Here’s what the Rossoneri defender had to say to the press today at the Milanello sports centre:
“The derby is always a special game and this close to Christmas makes it even more special. It could mean a merry Christmas for us giving us a few more points on the table and helping towards 2014 in a calmer frame of mind. It’ll be a tough game on Sunday evening from a technical point of view as Inter remain a strong team even if they haven’t had such great results in the past few matches. We’re doing everything we can to prepare the match in the best manner possible even if we dropped a few points on the way to the game. We’ve let in too many goals and there’s some disappointment from the games where we should have got more than we did.”
“I’ve seen many derbies as a fan but the Champions League semi-final sticks out. I really hope that Kakà will score his 100th goal for the club on Sunday against Inter. I’m not very superstitious myself and I don’t see any point problems in discussing it but we haven’t really spoken about it in the changing room. In the last  few months, Mario has grown a lot in terms of personality. He knows that if he puts in a good performance there’ll be no complaints and lately we’re very happy. Mazzarri is a very well prepared coach especially when it comes to the little details. Thorir? I wish him all the best, but from January. The closed terraces? It would be an anomaly and it’s much better playing in front of the fans. The terraces are part of the game, part of putting on a show for the people.”
“Who would I take from inter? I really like Palacio for the way he plays and the way he moves for the team.”
