The exhibition match is a mix of best players from past and present who all represent different cultures and religions: biddhists, cristians (from catholic to protestant and evangelical), jews, hindus, muslims and shintos. It is a unique occasion to show how much sport, and football in particular, can send out a positive message about faith and fraternity all in the name of peace. The Olympic stadium in Rome will be sending out television, radio and web signals to the entire world. The funds raised by the event - an idea that came directly from Pope Francis and was organised by Scholas Occurrentes and the PUPI Foundation - will used entirely for the 'An Alternative to Life' project that offers support to thousands of children in Buenos Aires and promotes the development of Schools.]]>
