BIG MILAN PRESENCE AT THE GAME FOR PEACE

< ![CDATA[MILAN - Paolo Maldini, Filippo Inzaghi, Sulley Muntari, Alessandro Nesta, Andriy Shevchenko and Ronaldinho will all be playing in the religious Game for Peace at the Olimpico in Rome on Monday September 1st at 8.45pm. The exhibition match is a mix of best players from past and present who all represent different cultures and religions: biddhists, cristians (from catholic to protestant and evangelical), jews, hindus, muslims and shintos. It is a unique occasion to show how much sport, and football in particular, can send out a positive message about faith and fraternity all in the name of peace. The Olympic stadium in Rome will be sending out television, radio and web signals to the entire world. The funds raised by the event - an idea that came directly from Pope Francis and was organised by Scholas Occurrentes and the PUPI Foundation - will used entirely for the 'An Alternative to Life' project that offers support to thousands of children in Buenos Aires and promotes the development of Schools.]]>
