Matri celebrates his 31st birthday today.

MILAN – A special day for a player who has a special bond with the Milan jersey and the Milan colours. Alessandro Matri, a Milan man through and through, turns 31 today. Best wishes!

After a goal laden experience with the Milan youth teams, the Italian made his debut for the first team at just 18 years of age in 2003 in Piacenza-Milan 4-2, a match in which Carlo Ancelotti played plenty of youngsters and rested his senior players ahead of the all-Italian Champions League final in Manchester versus Juventus.
