ANDREA MALDERA TO THE MILAN CHANNEL: “Aldo was an idol to us”

< ![CDATA[MILAN – Andrea Maldera, a member of Filippo Inzaghi’s coaching staff, spoke to the Milan Channel earlier about the legendary Aldo Maldera: "Of my uncle, I remember the year of the 10th Scudetto. I was 8 years old and I had started to go to the stadium. Apart from that season, Aldo for us nephews was an idol. He took us to play on the pitches at Milanello. I have a lot of memories linked to my uncle. I remember him when I was a ball-boy at San Siro and he played for Roma. As a fan, there are lots of moments, from the goals, to the victories, to various achievements that he deserved as a footballer. Those who met Aldo, including Tassotti who played together with him, know that my uncle was always very serious, in the Milan style, respected by Rivera and Liedholm. He was the captain in between Rivera and Baresi. Even in the national team he was very respected. Everyone remembers him today as a goal-scoring wing-back."]]>
