ALLIEVI NAZIONALI, DANESI GIVES TEAM ALL THE CREDIT

MILAN – Allievi Nazionali coach Omar Danesi spoke after his young Milan side’s 3-2 win over Juventus in the Final Eight semi-final,
"It was a tight match. I can only compliment Juventus and their coach. It was a game that matched the expected level of a semi-final. My players were fantastic in taking a two goal lead, but then we let them back into it and allowed them a chance to show what they could do. However, also this time, who came on as a substitute made the difference and this led us to the final. I have to say well done to all the lads. Our Rossoneri heart was the starting off point in this semi-final, and during the tough moments we had to grit our teeth and keep our group spirit even tighter. We have a great bunch of players, who give all they’ve got and fight together. We deserve to have reached the final, which is a incredible objective to have achieved. Now we have to recoup our energy ahead of facing Inter. We’ll have our captain Gamarra back, who was missed this evening, but who replaced him gave 10 times more to make up for his absence."
