MILANELLO – After yesterday’s training session, which took place in difficult weather conditions with heavy rains, Alex spoke exclusively to the Milan Channel.
The centre-back started off by speaking about the importance of scoring his first goal for the rossoneri last weekend away at Sassuolo: “It was very important for me and also for my daughters at home who were asking me to score a goal! I take to the pitch with the main aim of helping the side by defending well and so to score is something extra.”
Alex continued and looked ahead to the next match: “Torino are a strong side and they will be motivated because they want to qualify for the Europa League. We’re at home, we want to give a good performance for us, for the fans and the club. My fitness? I have had lots of injuries this year, but I now feel that I’m at my best physically, even if there are unfortunately just 2 more games left. I will work to ensure that I stay like this next year as well. I come here every day to train well and to play the next match well. The last two matches are important and I want to win them.”
