MILAN – The post-match comments by the club’s youth sector team captain Alessandro Mastalli:

“Signing the contract? I’m very happy. These days have been magnificent and I have to thank the club. It’s a little dream of mine and an honour to have 2 more years on the contract.
Today was perhaps one of the worst matches in terms of the quality, but we showed great character. Those that came off the bench did brilliantly and my substitution was absolutely right. For me these are 3 very important points. We’re playing a lot right now, with a busy fixture list and it’s hard. It takes away a lot of energy. However, we work well with the coach and we’re ready.
My dream is to play in the Champions League with Milan. It’s hard, but I believe and I hope with all my heart. My first objective for the season is to reach the final-8 and earn match by match the 3 points by dominating the play. I have to improve with my heading, but I’m working on it.”
