ALBERTINI TO THE MILAN CHANNEL: “A sense of belonging in a group is important, especially if the group is being rebuilt”

MILAN – AC Milan great Demetrio Albertini spoke to the Milan Channel.

This is what he said:”The World Cup in Qatar was in the air and it had already been spoken about during the selection meeting. It would certainly put the organisation of the league championships in difficulty, as well as the Olympics. I feel a bit disappointed with Parma, I didn’t think something like this could happen in Serie A, where there are some big takings. There needs to be respect for the city. I ask myself how some of the controls were done. As for Roberto Donadoni, he is a good person, a professional, a worker, who has put the interests of the club ahead of everything else. He didn’t jump ship after taking them into Europe last season, but has tried to move forwards in Serie A with a sense of responsibility. I personally share this Italian Milan wanted by the President Silvio Berlusconi. A sense of belonging in a group is important, especially if the group is being rebuilt, and to this foreign players can also be added. I am absolutely in favour, it’s a good start to get back to being a great Milan side.”
