ADRIANO GALLIANI TO THE MILAN CHANNEL: “We believe in Europe. We will try right until the end.”

MILAN – The club’s CEO Adriano Galliani spoke to the Milan Channel earlier at a Technogym event in via Durini in the city. These were his comments:

“Since the number of injured players has been reduced, we’ve started to collect a few more points. In these past two difficult months we’ve even had 12-13 injured players. I’ve seen Mihajlovic’s Samdporia play better on other occasions. We believe in Europe, even if 7 points are a lot. We will try right until the end to qualify for a place in Europe. I am a fan of Suso, when I saw him with the Spanish Under-21 side he seemed an excellent player and I went to get him. He’s a player that has been with Liverpool and I am convinced that he can be an important player. I always see him train well. The Milan derbies are always very fair, we’re the most evolved city in Italy from this point of view. I think the Milan fans should always be grateful to the President Berlusconi for making them win 5 Champions League titles and taking part in 8 finals. In the future the decisions that are made by the President will definitely be in the interest and love of Milan. Destro took a heavy knock, but there are no problems to the knee. It was only a heavy knock, we just have to wait for the pain to go away. Inzaghi also has a contract for next year. I am sure that we will do well from now until the end of the season and I am sure that the coach will remain next season as well. It’s not a question of qualifying for Europe or not. It’s a matter of doing well and finishing this season well, in which we had a lot of problems in the months of January and February.”
