AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi directing an afternoon training session at 15:30 at the Centro Sportivo Milanello on the lower pitch behind the gym on Tuesday 30 September. Inzaghi is preparing the Serie A Week 6 game AC Milan vs Chievo Verona on Saturday 4 September at the San Siro Stadium.
As reported by AC Milan official website, training started first of all with the players giving midfielder Andrea Poli and Colombian defender Cristian Zapata a big round of applause; the former turned 25 on Monday while the latter celebrated his 28th birthday on Tuesday.
The session then began with some technical and fitness exercises: passing and running drills over various work-stations.
This was then followed by some work on possession which was carried out by playing a 10 v 10 match with a free floating player on a reduced size pitch.
Training session concluding by focusing on tactics and the usual practice match.
