The “Pioli Era” starts officially on Wednesday 9 October 2019.   Pioli was presented durig the press conference at Casa Milan.   Pioli’s first training session at Milanello with his new players was immediately after his presentation.    Players absent due to commitments to their respective national teams. Zvonimir Boban, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara were also present at Milanello.

As reported by AC Milan official website, the team took to the pitch at 16:00 CEST. Before starting the session today, the Coach gathered the players together to introduce the new staff. Training began in the usual fashion with the usual warm up drills to activate the muscles and some stretching, before progressing onto some passing drills. Then, a game of El Rondo at maximum intensity before further technical exercises involving mannequins, such as sprints combined with shots on goal.
