ON BAYERN MUNICH V MILAN
“It will be a high-quality affair. We’ve been working together for ten days, I expect to see us implement the things we’ve been working on. I’m confident, the team have put in excellent work up to this point. These matches will allow us to see the progress the team are making.”

ON THE ICC
“It’s really well-organised, and the matches are of excellent quality too. Playing fantastic sides in a big tournament allows you to grow. I’ll assess how the team go about their business when they’re out on the pitch: I’m interested in the quality of the performances, the desire to play the part of protagonists. Tomorrow’s match, just like the one on Sunday, will help us improve.”

“When matches are played on Sunday, I think about the team on Sunday morning. This is the last thing I consider, what counts are ideas on how to play. I have my own vision, we’re still in the early stages and the journey to achieving increasingly big results will be tortuous. I know Piatek as an opposition Coach, now I’m fortunate to coach him.
