A TRIBUTE TO BRAZIL

(IN THE PHOTO: Kakà, Gabriel and Robinho smiling for the cameras with the new third-jersey)MILAN – The new third jersey will be worn for the first time this Sunday against Atalanta. It will also be the first time that Milan launches a new shirt away from the San Siro which is an important sign of change. The third shirt for the 2014-15 season is a tribute to Brazil and this summer’s World Cup. Considering that Milan has had many Brazilian stars during the 28 years of the Berlusconi era, it was only right to pay tribute to those protagonists that have been central to Milan’s style of play. From Altafini, Dino Sani, Sormani to the stars of the present, Milan has had an affinity with players from Brazil. Everyone remembers the smile of Marcos Cafu while not forgetting those of Thiago Silva and Pato, Dida and Serginho, Rivaldo and Ronaldinho, Leonardo and Ronaldo. The new yellow and green shirt represents a Milan side that takes note of an important aspect of the club’s history while also looking ahead to the future. It’s a fitting tribute to Brazil who follow Milan closely while also remaining a dream for many talented youngsters in the South American Country.CLICK HERE TO SEE THE OFFICIAL AC MILAN PRESENTATION.
