2 YEARS OF CASA MILAN

MILANELLO – It has been two years to the day since the inauguration of Casa Milan in Via Aldo Rossi, Milan.

In these 730 days since it opened, Casa Milan has managed some impressive results both in terms of the visitors and the revenue generated as well as becoming a real focal point of the city of Milan. After just two years, Casa Milan is a real point of reference for the Milan fans, for the citizens of the city and also for all the tourists that visit throughout the year. Casa Milan is considered to be one of the most beautiful and innovative headquarters of a football club around the world.

Casa Milan was a real labour of love for Milan CEO Barbara Berlusconi, designed in collaboration with the architect Fabio Novembre, and it was envisaged not just as offices but as a real home where every Rossoneri fan could experience something unique and admire the silverware won by the club in the Museum.

From the Mondo Milan Museum (which harbours all the success of the club) to the Store (where all the official merchandising is available) to the Cucina Milanello Restaurant (where breakfast is served as well as the Milanese ‘aperitif’). Casa Milan also houses the Ticket Office for the matches at San Siro.

Casa Milan has been a success story since it opened to the public. Over these two years the club have registered nearly 600.000 visitors, with a revenue of €6.444,195.

– Museo Mondo Milan: €1.656.577
– Store: €3.639.269
– Cucina Milanello: €1.148.349

The opening of Casa Milan intended to strengthen and promote the Rossoneri brand, and as well as being the club headquarters, it has also been the location for a series of activities and initiatives launched with club sponsors: always appreciated for the quality of the location and service provided.

There have been a host of activities created for the fans since its opening such as the Casa Milan Village: an annual event at the start of the season to present the first team squad to the fans and which runs over a series of days, thanks also to the numerous fun-filled initiatives and sponsor stands.

To continue, the Mondo Milan Museum hosted last year the temporary exhibition on the FIFA World Cup, The Cup Factory, while in the coming days a new one will be presented dedicated entirely to the UEFA Champions League: MILAN and the Champions League.

Casa Milan has also sought to diversify its activities and offers a gallery devoted to contemporary art: after the No Curves Exhibition, visitors can currently visit the works of Giovanni Cerri with his exhibition, titled Rossoneri, paying tribute to key figures and moments in the club’s illustrious history.

Cucina Milanello Restaurant staged the Design League, a table football tournament for local architecture firms, for the second year in a row, and held in occasion of the renowned Design Week, not to mention a number of Meet&Greets with stars of the Milan first team.

The club’s HQ has also cemented its reputation as a place for families by organising events for Father’s Day as well as Casa Milan Junior Club for the youngest red and black fans. You can now also celebrate your birthday at Casa Milan with friends and family.

So, there really is so much to do and going on at the place where the passion and love for the Rossoneri colurs comes to life! Happy Birthday Casa Milan!
