Stats before the game. Lazio have recorded two wins and two losses in four home games against Austrian sides, losing their only previous home game against Sturm Graz in 2002/03 in the UEFA Cup. Sturm Graz’s only win in five away games against Italian sides came against Lazio in December 2002. The Austrian club’s last game in Italy ended in a 1-0 defeat to Juventus in August 2010 . Lazio have remained unbeaten in their last six Europa League home games (3W, 3N), after having recorded a series of three defeats in their previous four home games (1W). Sturm Graz have lost three straight away games in Europe and could come to four straight defeats for the first time since November 1999, with the fourth recorded in that case against an Italian team (Parma). Seven of Lazio’s last eight victories in European competitions have come at the Olimpico, including the only one in this edition of the Europa League (4-2 v Feyenoord on matchday one).
