England defeated Slovakia 2-1 in extra time winning the UEFA EURO 2024 Round of 16 on Sunday 30 June 2024 at the Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen. The heroes are Jude Bellingham saving England from crashing out of Euro 2024 scoring a stunning 90+5′ minute.
Imagine, England were just 86 seconds away from an embarrassing elimination until Jude Bellingham’s stunner goal. Bellingham, only 21 on Saturday. Bellingham’s superb bicycle kick from a long throw-in beating goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka to cancel out Ivan Schranz’s first-half opener and send the tie to extra-time. The rest is history…. Captain Kane took care of the final business scoring the winner goal.
England will play the Quarterfinal against Switzerland on Saturday 6 July at the Düsseldorf Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany.
