Peru 0 – 1 Denmark
A sour return to the World Cup from Peru after 36 years. Peru losing the First Stage Group C game on Saturday 16 June 2018 at the Mordovia Arena in Saransk, Russia. Denmark crushing Peru’s hope to claim the victory. Making matters worst, Peru failed to convert a penalty. Christian Cueva disappointed after failing the penalty by sending it too high over the bar. Peru will have to regroup and try to win the next game or risk to be eliminated in the first stage.
