Giampiero Ventura new Italy Head Coach after EURO 2016

The Italia Football Federation (FIGC) has confirmed on Tuesday 7 June that the new Head Coach is Giampiero Ventura.   Currently, Italy Head Coach is Antonio Conte and will continue to do so until the end of EURO 2016 on Sunday 10 July 2016.  Ventura will replace Conte who has been announced as Chelsea new coach.

  • Giampiero Ventura ended his contract with Torino  by mutual consent on 25 May 2016, after five years at the club.
  • Ventura has previously managed Napoli, Pisa and Bari.
