Genoa humiliated AS Roma by winning the Serie A Week 6 game on Thursday 28 September 2023 at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium in Genoa, Italy.   Genoa crushed Roma with a poker while the honor goal for Roma as scored by Bryan Cristante.  The victory helped Genoa to move away from the relegation zone climbing from the 16th to the 11th position with 7 points.  Roma stepped down from the 14th to the 16th position.

For Mourinho’s team it is the third defeat in the championship. This is Genoa’s first home win of the championship. Genoa opened the score in the 4th minute. Albert Gudmundsson defeated AS Roma goalkeeper Rui Patricio with a left-footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Kevin Strootman.

AS Roma equalized in the 22nd minute. Bryan Cristante defeated Genoa goalkeeper with a headed shot to the center. The assist is by Leonardo Spinazzola.
